Without that colon, you might take me for a fan of Jimmy Fallon’s house band, the ROOTS. You would not be far off. I am, actually, a big fan of that band.

But, there is a colon in the title. Why? Because we need to talk about some different roots. For many of us, this time is exposing the depth (or shallowness), of our spiritual roots, the condition of our soil, our water, our light levels. Things are tough. But there is good news. Let’s encourage each other in Christ. Spiritual fruit of love is not easy to grow in this climate; we need to go down this road together.
