“We saw his star when it rose
Matthew 2:2
and have come to worship him.”
I saw “The Christmas Star” last night. Clouds had parted. The conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn were visible around 5:30 pm from Sunset Hill Park in Ballard. I had neither binoculars, nor a telescope; my unaided vision was not strong enough to make out the details, but I relied on others, on their instruments, on photographs posted online, to truly see and understand what was twinkling in the twilight sky.
We all need help seeing. Who helps you?
We all need clouds to part. Who can part the clouds?
We also need darkness to see certain lights.
Have you seen lights more clearly in the darkness?
