Do you have them sorted out – the BIG “J” from the little “j’s”?

There is a story about this; it’s one of the oldest stories around. Throughout his life, a certain individual had several jobs. Starting out as a captive slave, he became the personal attendant to the Captain of the Guard. While unjustly incarcerated, he was given authority over other prisoners by the Warden. He was a dream interpreter. He eventually became the Vizier to Pharoah, managing the entire food chain of Egypt. But all of these jobs, were little “j” jobs. His greatest role – the BIG “J” job – was to be a faithful representative of God – the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob – because he was a child of the Covenant. The story of Joseph follows an arc across highs and lows. Throughout, Joseph remembers his true identity, and keeps the little “j” jobs sorted out from the BIG J job.

Do you have the BIG “J” sorted out from all your little “j’s”?  This is a good place for us to begin on LABOR DAY WEEKEND.
